Justin Bieber's comeback continues strong with his total domination at MTV's European Music Awards, held at the Mediolanum Center in Milan, Italy on Sunday (Oct. 25).
Bieber not only performed his brand new single “What Do You Mean?” at the awards show, he earned wins for for Best Male, Best Look, Worldwide Act: North America and Best Collaboration for his work with Skrillex and Diplo on “Where Are You Now?” and even scored the Biggest Fans prize, besting out everyone's favorite boy band, One Direction, who came in second place.
During his acceptance speech for Best Male, Bieber says, "It's been a long couple years. I just feel like this is pretty awesome to be recognized for my music. First of all, I just want to say thank you to all my fans, you guys are really incredible. I want to thank my mom and my dad and God, everyone who helped me get to this place."
Looks like Bieber is ready to leave the paparazzi headlines behind and just focus on the music. Everyone would be happy to see the 21-year-old star, who's clearly a naturally gifted pop star, stop acting like idiot boy, and keep churning out sweet beats from his highly anticipated new album, "Purpose."
When Bieber accepted his award for Best Look, his fifth award of the night, all Bieber could muster was, "Wow," before adding, "I don't know what to say. I got these looks from my mama."
The EMA's awards ceremony takes place in a different European city each year and winners are chosen by fans across the continent. The fans have spoken: Bieber is King.
