The “Vanity Fair” annual International Best Dressed list is here and is predictably full of glitz, glamour and the famous few who get to wear very very expensive clothes. Among this year’s honorees are: Actors, pop stars, royalty, a business owner or two and a ballerina.
On the ladies side there is: Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Amal Clooney, Misty Copeland, Emma Watson, Emma Stone. On the mens side: Bill Nighy, Eddie Redmayne, Prince Harry, Michael Fassbender, to name a few.
In addition to the photos of the aforementioned haute couture, the Best Dressed were asked to provide a few intriguing details, such as their style icon, favorite scents, shoes and places to shop. Not all honorees chose to provide the requested information, but of the few who participated, there are a few fun facts to know.
Taylor Swift’s style icon is Audrey Hepburn and her favorite scent is Incredible Things by Taylor Swift. Obvious answers, Tay Tay, but just fun enough.
Maybe you will be surprised to learn that American Ballet Theater principal dancer Misty Copeland’s style icons are Sarah Jessica Parker and Nicole Richie? Or that Golden Globe-winning actor Bill Nighy’s are Frank Sinatra, David Bowie, Bryan Ferry and Pharrell Williams.
How about the most fun fact from Emma Watson? That her favorite piece of clothing is a sweatshirt. A “John Patrick Organic sweatshirt.”
However the best response in the entire piece is from Bill Nighy, regarding his favorite scent: “I’ve never got round to that.”
