Rocker Nick Cave’s 15-year-old son Arthur died Wednesday (July 15) from injuries suffered after falling from a cliff in Brighton, England. According to Sussex Police via NBC News, Arthur was found with severe injuries in a walkway below a 60-foot drop and taken to the hospital Tuesday (July 14).
Cave and his wife model Susie Bick confirmed the news of Arthur’s passing in a statement, saying, “Our son Arthur died on Tuesday evening. He was our beautiful, happy loving boy. We ask that we be given the privacy our family needs to grieve at this difficult time.”
The Australian rocker, who is best known for being in the band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, has three other sons one of which is Arthur’s twin brother Earl.
Arthur’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
