These are some memories that will always light the corners of Daisy Ridley’s mind.
On Tuesday (March 1), the “Star Wars” star revealed the artist that she secretly recorded a song with — the legendary Barbra Streisand. Ridley posted a photo of herself alongside the music and film icon on social media.
“I’m gonna end this spate of pictures detailing my insane weekend with this…” she captions the Instagram photo. “Ummmmmmmmmmmm…”
The actress initially gave small details of the secret get-together. Her director J.J. Abrams teased last week that she would be recording a song with a “massive superstar” on Saturday.
“I can tell you everyone’s guesses are way off,” Ridley says in an interview with E! News at the Oscars. “When J.J. said ‘superstar,’ he meant a legendary awe-inspiring jaw-dropping superstar.”
Ridley has proven her vocal skills in a holiday video where she sings “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” with her “Star Wars” co-star Oscar Isaac. The actress’ voice has also been praised in the past by Abrams, who shared that Ridley would often sing on the set of “Star Wars.”
It is unknown whether or not Ridley will be recording a full album. Her schedule will be pretty tight, given that the starlet is currently in the midst of filming “Star Wars: Episode VIII.”
