An unpublished photo book has raised more than $5,000 on Kickstarter for one simple idea. The master plan? Taking professional photos of dogs eating peanut butter for a photo book titled, “For the Love of Peanut Butter.” You’re welcome, Internet.
Photographer Greg Murray is the creator of the Kickstarter campaign. Murray’s goal with the project is “to make dog lovers laugh.” With a love of making people happy, he states that there really isn’t a better way of doing so than presenting these images of canines eating peanut butter.
“In more than 100 portraits of dogs enjoying and eating (or attempting to eat) peanut butter, you’ll see our best friends loving one of their favorite treats throughout this 100+ page book,” the website reads.
The book is set to feature a variety of breeds from chihuahuas to mutts, great danes to french bulldogs. Each animal will have their faces snapped to capture their facial expressions and twisted tongues as they indulge in some of that peanut buttery goodness.
Need more incentive to give in to the cuteness? Murray’s Instagram features many samples of his various dog models. Here are some of the giggle-worthy highlights:
While his Kickstarter has reached its goal, and then some, Murray is still on the hunt for 30-40 more dogs to fill out the book. For a pledge of $300 or more, owners are able to submit their pets to be featured in the finished product.
“For the Love of Peanut Butter” is estimated to be released by Fall 2016.
