Nik Wallenda training to walk over the Grand Canyon

UPDATE: Nik Wallenda successfully completed his latest highwire adventure. It look the daredevil approximately 32 minutes to take his longest walk yet on Tuesday (Aug. 11) at the Wisconsin State Fair across a 1,600-foot wire.

After finishing the journey, he told spectators he would sign autographs. Meanwhile, he’s likely already brainstorming his next record-breaking feat.

Nik Wallenda has done his share of impressive highwire feats in the past, like walking across Niagara Falls and the Grand Canyon, and between Chicago skyscrapers while blindfolded.

On Tuesday (Aug. 11) he will attempt his longest walk ever at the Wisconsin State Fair, a 1,600-foot stroll 10 stories above the Milwaukee Mile on a wire no wider than a a nickel.
