emma stone mtv movie awards gi 2012 MTV Movie Awards: Emma Stone accepts her Trailblazer AwardIf you weren’t already in love with Emma Stone, her acceptance speech for the first annual MTV Movie Awards Trailblazer Award will seal the deal. The actress took the stage to receive the inaugural prize for her diverse body of work that includes films like “Easy A,” “Superbad,” “The Help” and the upcoming “The Amazing Spider-Man” (at such a young age, too — she’s only 23).

Stone was her usual funny, charming self while delivering a touching speech that honored her comedy idols — Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, Charlie Chaplin, Lorne Michaels — and other inspirational figures — The Beatles, Cameron Crowe — before encouraging kids to find what inspires them.

“Those people are my creative trailblazers but I am not following any of their paths,” she says, saying people should find what makes them unique.

She tells teens that sometimes, “what sets you apart can feel like a burden and it’s not. A lot of the time it what makes you great.”

If that weren’t heartwarming enough, Stone gets teary as she wraps up, saying “I am deeply touched and grateful for this. Thank you.”

We can’t say we weren’t warned — “I’m a crier,” she said as she began her speech.

Do you think Stone deserved the award? How much do you love her, on a scale from “a lot” to “OH MY GOSH SO MUCH”? (It’s a trick question, because she is wonderful and every answer is right.)

UPDATE: Check out the not-so-nice tribute video Stone’s costars jokingly made in her honor. There’s a special appearance by noted Stone admirer Jim Carrey that will make you LOL.
