The narrator of the new "Alice Through the Looking Glass" trailer might seem all to familiar. The late Alan Rickman lent his voice to narrate the teaser for the forthcoming Tim Burton film.

"You've been gone for too long, Alice," the video begins.

Rickman returned to voice Absolem the Caterpillar in his final film role. The feature is a sequel to 2010's "Alice in Wonderland," starring Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Matt Lucas, Michael Sheen, Stephen Fry and Helena Bonham Carter.

The sequel follows Alice (Wasikowska) after she has spent a few years following in her father’s footsteps and sailing the high seas. After returning to London, she comes across a magical looking glass and reunites with her friends in the fantastical realm of Underland.

The above stars reprise their original roles, with Rhys Ifans and Sacha Baron Cohen joining the cast as the Mad Hatter’s Father and Time, respectively.

"Alice Through the Looking Glass" hits theaters May 27.
