ashton kutcher steve jobs sundance film festival 2013 Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs, Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace lead Sundance premiere listThe 2013 Sundance Film Festival has announced a slate of star-studded titles scheduled for the high profile premieres section, including bio-pics starring Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs and Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace.

The Kutcher film, “jOBS,” has been selected as Sundance’s closing night movie and “chronicles the defining 30 years of Steve Jobs’ life.” Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad and Lukas Haas co-star.

“Lovelace” stars Seyfried as infamous “Deep Throat” leading lady Linda Lovelace and explores the darker side of her success in the porn industry. Peter Sarsgaard, Hank Azaria, Adam Brody, James Franco and Sharon Stone co-star.

Among the other major titles set to debut at this year’s fest: “Parks and Recreation’s” Adam Scott and Amy Poehler team up on the big screen for “A.C.O.D.” (A Child of Divorce); Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy return in “Before Sunset” sequel “Before Midnight”; Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s directorial debut “Don Jon’s Addicition” stars Gordon-Levitt, Scarlett Johansson and Julianne Moore; Shia LaBeouf romances Evan Rachel Wood in “The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman”; and “The Way, Way Back” is the directorial debut of “The Descendants” screenwriters and TV stars Nat Faxon (“Ben & Kate”) and Jim Rash (“Community”) with a cast including Steve Carell and Maya Rudolph.

Other stars with titles in this year’s line-up include Dakota Fanning (“Very Good Girls”), Nicole Kidman (“Stoker”), Paul Rudd (“Prince Avalanche”), Jennifer Hudson (“The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete”), January Jones (“Sweetwater”), Alexander Skarsgard (“The East”) and Naomi Watts (“Two Mothers”).

And it doesn’t end there! Jane Campion’s BBC miniseries “Top of the Lake” starring Elisabeth Moss and Holly Hunter will get a special one-time-only screening. Why one time? It’s six hours long, and will air on Sundance Channel in the U.S.

The 2013 Sundance Film Festival runs Jan. 17-27.
