As part of the 30th anniversary celebration of “Back to the Future,” which came out July 3, 1985, Christopher Lloyd has made a short film titled “Doc Brown Saves the World” that will be released on the 30th anniversary DVD and Blu-ray set.

Universal Pictures has released a teaser clip of the short and the only proper response is, “Great Scott!”

The teaser doesn’t offer much in the way of plot, but Lloyd’s signature befuddled looks and body language are all there. Plus, there’s a tricked-out Delorean, looking even snazzier than in the original movies.

The 30th anniversary “Back to the Future” DVD/Blu-ray sets drop Oct. 21, 2015, which is the date Doc, Marty (Michael J. Fox) and Jennifer (Elisabeth Shue) went to in the future in the second movie.

“Back to the Future” fans can also look forward to Nov. 5, which marks the 60th anniversary from the date Marty went back in time originally, and Nov. 12, which is the 60th anniversary of the Enchantment Under the Sea dance and the lightning storm.
