[Variety] Do you remember “Johnny English”? No? Well, we’re getting a sequel anyway to the Rowan Atkinson comedy vehicle about a bumbling secret agent. Gillian Anderson, Dominic West, Rosamund Pike and upcomer Daniel Kaluuya have signed on for “Johnny English Reborn.” [The Hollywood Reporter] Speaking of The Hollywood Reporter, the former daily entertainment trade publication will shift to a weekly glossy mag. [New York Times] Christian Slater joins “Playback,” about some meddling high school students uncover a mysterious evil that preys on their classmates, and will play a cop who’s instrumental in exposing the town’s secret.
