It’s a good weekend for Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg, with “2 Guns” landing at the top of the box office. The action comedy took in an estimated $10 million at the Friday box office, easily beating the competition.
In the battle for second, “The Wolverine” bested newcomer “The Smurfs 2.” Hugh Jackman’s latest adventure as the bladed comic book hero pulled in $6.4 million Friday, bringing it’s total to $79.7 million.

3. “The Smurfs 2,” $5.5 million
4. “The Conjuring,” $4.3 million
5. “Despicable Me 2,” $3.1 million
