bradley cooper jane got a gun exit gi Bradley Cooper leaves 'Jane Got A Gun' without a villain again

“Jane Got A Gun” has been in trouble since it started filming, and things just got even worse for the movie. It started when longtime director “>Lynne Ramsay quit the film on its first day of production, and now star Bradley Cooper has backed out of the project as well.

“Regretfully, due to date conflicts between the film I am currently shooting for David O’Russell and ‘Jane Got a Gun,’ I am unable to join Natalie [Portman], Joel [Edgerton], Noah [Emmerich] and [director] Gavin [O’Connor] on this truly exciting project,” Cooper says in a statement to Deadline. “I was really looking forward to being a part of it and hope to work with each and every one in the future.”

Producers are reportedly looking at actors like Jake Gyllenhaal, Tom Hiddleston, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tobey Maguire to replace Cooper. He had previously replaced Jude Law, who replaced Edgerton. Michael Fassbender was originally supposed to play the male lead in the movie, but he also left the film and Edgerton took his role. “Jane Got A Gun” started filming in mid-March.
