The Walt Disney Co. has shuffled the release dates of upcoming Pixar movies around, according to Variety, leaving a large Pixar-free hole – all of 2014, to be specific. So, you’re going to have to wait a little longer for the return of the little clownfish Marlin and his blue tang pal in “Finding Dory,” as well as the voices of Neil Patrick Harris and Judy Greer in “The Good Dinosaur.” But if you can’t wait to see Disney’s live-action “Maleficent,” you’re in luck.
“Finding Dory” with returning star Ellen Degeneres, will now be released on June 17, 2016, instead of the previously announced Nov. 25, 2015.
“The Good Dinosaur” moves from May 30, 2014 to Nov. 25, 2015, the original “Finding Dory” date.
“Maleficent” with star Angelina Jolie takes the original “Dinosaur” date of May 30, 2014.
The Pixar-movie free 2014 is the studio’s first no-movie year since 2005.
