Pottermore, the J.K. Rowling-designed fansite for “Harry Potter” lovers, recently caught up with four of the movie series cast members and in addition to asking them questions about the movies, had them take the sorting hat quiz — with some surprising results.

Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in the eight “Harry Potter” films, says he feels like a Gryffindor. “I belong there,” he says before the quiz. But he is then a little stunned to discover that he’s actually a Hufflepuff.

“Hufflepuff! Wasn’t what I was expecting, but yeah, that’s really clever,” says the actor.

Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) has a similar experience, displaying visible shock that he is also sorted into Hufflepuff.

Bonnie Wright and Evanna Lynch, however, are quite pleased to discover they are Gryffindors. “Guys, I’m a Gryffindor! I feel very relieved. I feel proud,” says Wright, hand to her heart.

For Lynch, meanwhile, this is not her first foray into a sorting hat quiz. When Pottermore first hit the web years ago, she took the quiz and was also sorted into Gryffindor then. She tweeted at the time, “I’m in Gryffindor. #Pottermore #confusion #shock #pride #happiness #LUNADONTLEAVEME!!!”, a nod to the fact that her character, Luna Lovegood, is a proud Ravenclaw.
