High School Musical 10 years later reunion

No need to freak out, Disney fans, we’re all in this together!

In honor of the 10-year anniversary of the premiere of “High School Musical,” Disney has announced that the original cast will reunite for a screening of the first movie.

The career-launching movie musical was an instant success for the Disney Channel, as well as many of the actors who starred in it. While teen heartthrob Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) will not be attending, you can look forward to all your other favorites showing up for their 10-year high school reunion. Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman will host a screening of “High School Musical” on Wednesday (Jan. 20).

If you’re bummed you won’t see Zac Efron reunite will all his old friends, never fear! The actor will make a brief cameo with a pre-recorded message for fans.

The 10-year reunion special of “High School Musical” will air on Disney Channel on Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT
