Jake “The Snake” Roberts, best known for his late-80s/early-90s stint as a WWF wrestler who famously brought Damien the python into the ring with him, is kick-starting his career — or, at least making a comeback as one of the stars of “Heavy Water,” a Kickstarter film project.

The movie is an indie drama about River, a young man fresh out of prison who must “choose between his broken family and a curious new drug from an old friend.” Roberts plays Jed, the head of a “family” of street urchins and homeless people, who offers River protection and money in exchange for him joining their family.

According to the Kickstarter page, the movie is entering post-production but they have run out of money. The creator is looking to raise $25,000 — so far, they only have just over $4800. So if you’re looking to help out Jake the Snake’s movie career, make a donation.
