'Back to the Future II'

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, Universal Studios is delivering on a promise made over 25 years ago. After 1989’s “Back to the Future II” proclaimed “Jaws 19” would be terrorizing theaters in 2015 — this year — Universal has released a trailer for the shark attack movie.

The minute-and-a-half long teaser trailer takes you through the sordid history of the “Jaws” franchise — including RoboJaws, Cyber Jaws, Jaws in space, a prequel and more. The best — and scariest — is clearly “Jaws 17: Fifty Scales of Grey.”

All those sequels bring the world to the latest installment, “Jaws 19.”

“Now, the ocean’s are disappearing and to save their home the sharks must attack,” the trailer’s narrator says. “‘Jaws 19’ — This time it’s really, really personal.”

Sadly, there’s no release date for the movie just yet. Hopefully it’ll be out in time to grab a “Back to the Future II”-themed Pepsi Perfect before you settle down in the theater.
