kirk cameron Kirk Cameron's 'Unstoppable' movie: Facebook lifts ban on trailer after he calls fans to actionKirk Cameron‘s new movie “Unstoppable” recently found itself the target of a ban by Facebook and YouTube, prompting the former “Growing Pains” actor to request “friends of Faith, Family and Freedom” to rally behind him and get the clip unblocked. And it worked — on Facebook, at least.

“Victory!! Friends, you did it!” the staunch Christian traditionalist wrote Thursday (July 18) in a follow-up Facebook post. “People tried to stop ‘Unstoppable’ on Facebook, and because millions of us joined together as one voice, Facebook has apologized and welcomed us back! You all just demonstrated to the press (they re all calling me to talk about your amazing response!) that the communities of faith, hope, and love are, well … unstoppable.”

Cameron says YouTube still has a ban on the preview of the documentary, which features the evangelist on a religious quest through America. The website says the clip is a violation of its policies “against spam, scams and commercially deceptive content.”

“Unstoppable” will premiere Sept. 24 at Virginia’s Liberty University and be broadcast simultaneously in select theaters.
