Kylo Ren in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'

Now that so much of the world has seen “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” it’s time to take a closer — and very funny — look at Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), the movie’s villain.

A Twitter account called Emo Kylo Ren is gaining quite a few followers online and giving some seriously angst-ridden insight into what created the high-ranking member of the First Order. What follows contains spoilers for “The Force Awakens,” so if you’ve yet to watch the movie it may be best to turn away now.

It seems even in his teenage years, Ren was something of a complainer who thought the whole world just didn’t understand him.

Perhaps the highlight of the account isn’t Ren’s thoughts about the world, though. Instead it’s his high school friendship with Hux (Domnhall Gleeson) — who goes on to become a First Order General in “The Force Awakens.”

As Ren figures out who he really is, it’s Hux who shows him the true path to the dark side; wearing black, starting a band and reading “Atlas Shrugged.”

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is in theaters. If you haven’t seen it, perhaps it’s time to find out just how true to the movie this Twitter account is.
