Already ranked among the coolest videogames of all time, “LEGO Dimensions” is a portal-and-figure-based adventure that allows you to build and play as Batman, Marty McFly, Gandalf or the Ghostbusters. Now, a new wave of figures is coming out — and if you’re pop culture fan, you might want to sit down.

At long last, the worlds of Harry Potter, Gremlins, the Goonies and more will intersect — and you’ll be able to play as them. Heck, you’ll even be able to play as … Tom Cruise?

Much like “The LEGO Movie,” the game is all about breaking down boundaries between worlds. So, fans of various fanbases can’t help but swoon while watching clips like the new video depicting Wild Style (no, she’s still not a DJ), Sloth from “The Goonies,” Sonic the Hedgehog and more interacting with Cruise’s Ethan Hunt character from the “Mission: Impossible” movies.

Additional folks include characters from such disparate franchises as “Adventure Time,” “The A-Team,” Teen Titans Go!,” “Knight Rider” and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” Everybody’s favorite alien ET will be joining in on the fun, as will Beetlejuice and the Powerpuff Girls as well.

If you already have the game, you can pick up some extension packs starting September 27 at a store near you; additional packs will be released over the next twelve months. If you don’t have the game yet, it is available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U — so go pick one up and get your geek on.
