Tina Fey has had many leading men in her career, including Alec Baldwin on “30 Rock.” For Kermit the Frog in “Muppets Most Wanted,” that might have seemed like big shoes to fill. However, Fey confirms the Kermit is every bit as dashing as the very best actors throughout history.

“You can’t to any better,” she tells Zap2it during the “Muppets Most Wanted” junket. “Cary Grant is dead, so you can’t do any better than that.” As for how Kermit measures up to other men she’s worked with, Fey admits, “He’s much smaller, but I would say equally as charismatic.”
For Fey, joining the Muppets world was something special, even though she’s worked briefly with them on “Saturday Night Live,” “30 Rock” and a couple episode of “Sesame Street.” “To look around in a big wide shot and see every Muppet that you’ve ever seen in your life is thrilling,” she explains. Not only that, but she gets in on the singing and dancing with a couple performances, which was important thing for Fey, as someone who still listens to her “Muppet Show” album.

“Muppets Most Wanted” is in theaters Friday, March 21.

You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
