It's easy to call Mr. Wickham the villain of "Pride and Prejudice," but how does that change when zombies enter the mix? The cast of "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" tell Zap2it that both are equally despicable in their film.
"Wickham, that is one cool storyline," star Lily James, who plays Elizabeth Bennet, teases at Comic-Con, hinting there's some sort of twist with his character. "I won't say any more."
Matt Smith, who plays Mr. Collins, believes that the movie's biggest challenge is finding the balance of "what's the 'Pride and Prejudice' and what's the zombie-ness." "I think the zombies need to feel consistently scary throughout the movie, especially to a crowd like this who they know their zombies," he says.
Still, he finds himself a bit taken with Wickham, just like he's taken with Jack Huston who plays him. "I loved Wickham," Matt says, interrupting Huston's interview.
"You sort of want to love Wickham and then he's sort of despicable in every way," Huston says. "Matt would come over ... literally every time we'd be doing a scene, he'd walk in and goes, 'I really like Wickham.'"
"Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" hits theaters on Feb. 5, 2016.
