“Sex and the City” star Sarah Jessica Parker visits “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Wednesday (March 5), where naturally host Ellen DeGeneres has to ask about a third “Sex and the City” movie — to wild applause from the audience.

“I’ve been trying to make up interesting answers every time I’ve been asked this question lately, and the truth of the matter is, there has been no real conversation about a third movie at all,” says Parker. “I know there is a story, but whether or not that story is ever told remains truly one of the great mysteries of all time.”

The first two “Sex and the City” movies combined to earn nearly $250 million at the box office, so that’s not the issue. But getting all four leads back could prove tricky, as they have mixed feelings about revisiting their HBO series characters.

What do you think, fans? Are you dying for the final chapter of “SATC”?
