There’s good news for fans of the 2005 film “Sin City.” A sequel is finally in the works.
Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller announced the news on Thursday (April 12) and revealed the movie’s title will be “Sin City: A Dame To Kill For.” It will be produced by AR Films and Quick Draw Productions.
In a statement, Rodriguez says, “I have wanted to re-team with Frank Miller and return to the world he created since the day we wrapped the original, but have felt a duty to the fans to wait until we had something truly exceptional that would meet and exceed what have become epic expectations.”
“Sin City” grossed $160 million on a $40 million production budget. It featured Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke and Rutger Hauer. The cast for the sequel has yet to be announced.
