In these two new looks at the final installment of "The Hunger Games" series, "Mockingjay Part 2," there's the return of two characters that so far have been largely separated from Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) since the events of "Catching Fire" in 2013 — Peeta Mellark and Johanna Mason.
The ending of "Mockingjay Part 1" left it murky as to whether or not Peeta would be able to overcome the visions induced by the trackerjacker venom that made him want to kill Katniss. But according to "Real," a new clip from "Part 2," Peeta's almost back to being his old self, but he still needs Katniss' help to tell the difference between reality and the visions forced on him by the Capitol.
"You're still trying to protect me," Peeta says, "Real or not real?" Katniss is there to remind him that their bond in the Arena — twice — was "Real."
And while Peeta might be more beaten down than he's ever been in "THG" series, Johanna Mason still has her twisted sense of humor and her taste for violence, at least according to the "Old Friends" clip.
Jena Malone has added even more bitter strength to her character since "Mockingjay Part 1," and even though on the surface she seems tougher than Peeta, clearly her time in the Capitol's prison hurt her as well, and made her despise the evil President Snow.
And when Katniss gives her the news that Snow is the next target, Johanna responds "Now you're talking," with a smile — District 13 is finally ready to mount its attack.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" will be released on Nov. 20, 2015.
