Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid Bad Blood video

MTV has released the nominations for the 2015 Video Music Awards and unsurprisingly Taylor Swift’s star-studded “Bad Blood” video is one of the leading contenders with nine nominations.

Miley Cyrus will be this year’s host with the most when the moonmen statuettes are given out in Los Angeles on Sunday, Aug. 30.

The Video of The Year category is full of heavy-hitters, with Swift going head-to-head with bestie Ed Sheeran for his beautiful dance in the “Thinking Out Loud” video. Other contenders for the accolade are Beyonce, rapper Kendrick Lamar and Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars for “Uptown Funk.”
