The second annual American Country Countdown Awards kicks off Sunday (May 1), broadcast live from the Forum in Los Angeles, and this year it looks like Luke Bryan is the crowd favorite, having been tapped with seven total nominations.

Sam Hunt follows him closely with five nominations, and other popular artists like Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line and Zac Brown Band have all snagged multiple nominations as well. The American Country Countdown Awards are based on the popular radio countdown show “American Country Countdown with Kix Brooks,” which has been on the air for over 40 years.

Unless, of course, you’re busy. In which case, always ignore coincidence.”
