The 24th annual Billboard Music Awards had more than a few notable performances, but the most visually dynamic performance came from Adele and her new music video for "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)."

Adele couldn't attend the show, thanks to her busy world tour schedule, but she sent a thank you video for her award along with the world premiere of her latest music video.

The simplicity of the video is appealing -- especially in an age where you have to blow a few things up and jump out a window to shock anyone -- but the overlapping, transparent shots were more than a little trippy. If you made it out without any motion sickness, we applaud you.

None the less, the music video equivalent of a spinning screen saver predictably resonated very well with Adele's devoted fans, and we'd be surprised if it didn't break a few Vevo records in the next 24 hours.
