Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh, an associate of 2 Chainz, was gunned down outside his recording studio Friday (March 4) a little bit after 11 p.m., dead at age 28.

According to Atlanta’s WSB-TV 2, more than 50 shell casings were discovered in and around Street Execs Studios, where Travis Porter, 2 Chainz and others have been known to record.

Born Trentavious White, The Fulton County medical examiner says Bankroll Fresh was shot while inside the studio, then died after being transported to a nearby hospital. Photos from the crime scene seem to indicate that he was shot through a glass door.

“I mean it was a lot,” a neighbor named Paul Springer who heard the noise tells the TV channel. “Sounded like fireworks going off — ‘rattatttt’ like that, continuous.”

According to WSB reporter Steve Gehlbach, an owner of a store across the street says that a car drove by shooting, then turned and came back. Atlanta police are said to be reviewing security camera footage and urging those who may have information to contact their Crimestoppers line.
