claire holt jake johnson donna suits 10 Spoilers: 'The Vampire Diaries' and 'Suits' flash back while 'New Girl's' Nick sees his futureSince Mondays are just the worst, we here at Zap2it
have decided to give your week a much-needed wake-up call with 10 TV
teasers — just to remind you that when the work day is over, your DVR
waits to welcome you home.

In today’s Monday Kickstart,
find out about the first “Vampire Diaries” flashback of the year, plus a “Happy Endings” happy accident and a scandalous affair on “Bones.”

“The Vampire Diaries”: Episode 4 will flash back to the 1100s, where we’ll meet Alexander — a vampire hunter with a very, very mean streak. Unfortunately, when he meets Rebekah, he’s unaware that she is one of the very creatures he’s hunting… and, naturally, he’s quite taken with her.

“Suits”: It’s time for the highly anticipated flashback episode, in which we’ll find out just how Mike got into the LSAT business in the first place. We’ll also see his first (adorable) interactions with Jenny, and learn how Harvey busted Daniel. Our favorite part of the episode, though? A very hopeful moment for Donna/Harvey fans. Very hopeful indeed.

“Happy Endings”: In the first episode, Penny has a nasty fall… which lands her in a full upper-body cast. It works out nicely for Max, because Penny’s super-hot physical therapist, Kent, is very receptive to Max’s flirtation. Of course, that’s because Kent thinks that Max is a nice person. Kent is wrong.

“Shameless”: When we caught up with Emmy Rossum at the TCA Press Tour, she spilled that Debbie will be making a new friend this year. But there’s a twist! The new pal is “a young girl who’s really a young boy,” according to Rossum. Additionally, Fiona will be working at a sewage plant, and seeing Harry Hamlin naked. “It’s been very clean,” Rossum jokes.

“Dexter”: We have seen the Season 7 premiere, and trust us when we say it’s worth the wait. As Deb and Dexter deal with the fallout from what Deb saw in the Season 6 finale, Miami Metro Homicide rallies around a death that hits close to home — which acts as a nice diversion for Dexter. Except for one small problem he leaves behind, but it’s just too good to spoil for you.

“Veep”: In Season 2, Selina finds herself in one of the cringe-worthiest moments yet — at a hog roast. Star Julia Louis-Dreyfus also teases for Zap2it that there will be several new faces added to the already-stellar ensemble cast that makes up the Vice President’s staff.

“The Closer”: You didn’t think “The Closer” would end without Brenda getting another shot at Phillip Stroh, did you? Of course it wouldn’t. Billy Burke returns for the final episode, and Stroh has a lot to do with Brenda’s departure from the LAPD.

“Bones”: In the second episode of Season 8, the team will investigate the murder of a high-powered male divorce attorney. Things get a little scandalous when they discover that his wife, Pamela, has been carrying on a hot and heavy affair with his secretary, Margot.

“Hart of Dixie”: Lemon is single, but she may not be ready to mingle just yet. In the third episode of the season, she and new rival Ruby (played by Golden Brooks) vie for the affection of a handsome stranger at a bar, and it doesn’t end as planned. Meanwhile, a reporter from out of town comes to Bluebell to write a magazine profile about Zoe.

“New Girl”: Get ready for Old Nick, y’all. Producers are looking for someone who looks like a 70-year-old version of Jake Johnson to play a patron at Nick’s bar. He appears to be your average day-drunk… until he claims to be a time traveler from the future who knows everything about how Nick’s life turns out.
