kickstart 4 8 10 Spoilers: 'Walking Dead' Season 3 scoop, a 'Being Human' hug and moreSince Mondays are just the worst, we here at Zap2it
have decided to give your week a much-needed wake-up call with 10 TV
teasers — just to remind you that when the work day is over, your DVR
waits to welcome you home.

This week, our Monday Kickstart includes scoop on a new facet of “The Walking Dead,” the highly anticipated “Law & Order” episode of “Community,” Nurse Jackie’s rehab stint — and much more.

“Switched at Birth”: When Daphne gets a new job at a restaurant, she learns that despite her knack for the culinary arts, the kitchen may not be the best place for her. Though she’s always been good at adapting to the hearing world, her new boss, Chef Jeff, isn’t able to make adjustments to his kitchen to help Daphne fit in. She’s disheartened when an accident gets her relegated to dishwashing duty.

“The Big C”:
The school where Cathy teaches is ground zero for all sorts of Jamison shenanigans – literally everyone gets in on the act. And as a shout-out early ’90s sitcoms, Mrs. Torkelson is back as the horrified school principal at the heart of the action.

“The Vampire Diaries”:
If, like us, you’ve been suffering serious
Lockwood withdrawal symptoms lately, you’re in luck. Tyler has
been MIA since January, but that egregious wrong will be righted in the upcoming
April 19 episode — and we’re hearing that the final two episodes of
Season 3 set up a really strong storyline for our favorite teenage hybrid in Season 4. You
know… if he survives that long.

The Season 3 finale isn’t exactly as explosive as “Bloody Harlan,” but you can nonetheless count on several dead bodies. Quarles, who finds Limehouse rather disarming, will kidnap a young man, again… though it’s for a whole new set of reasons this time.

“Nurse Jackie”:
Jackie wouldn’t be Jackie if she put in her 28 days at rehab and it was smooth sailing from there. Of course she leaves early, and of course life conspires to make continued sobriety a difficult proposition. And, no, it’s not a coincidence that her new boss and her new rehab buddy share the same last name — on and off screen.

“The Walking Dead”:
A significant portion of Season 3 will be spent in Woodbury, a zombie-free safe haven colony run by the already-announced Governor character. Producers are allegedly seeking a deal to film “Woodbury” locations in the small town of Senoia, Ga., throughout 2012 and possibly into 2013, so fans can expect to spend a significant amount of time in the safe haven. We’re guessing it won’t stay particularly safe for very long.

“The Client List”: Is it possible Riley’s soon-to-be-ex-brother-in-law is mowing her lawn as more than just a concerned relative? At first, she may be too hurt by his sibling’s betrayal to consider that possibility… but there’s time.

“Law & Order: SVU”: As if a case causing Olivia to question some of her interrogation tactics wasn’t bad enough, the start of an internal review has serious repercussions on her and David’s romantic relationship.

“Being Human”: In the season finale, Sally has a painful request for her ghostly mother. Fans can also look forward to a real hug between Josh and Sally. It’s their first — and it may be their last. Someone isn’t going to make it to Season 3.

“Community”: Troy and Abed’s good-cop bad-cop act in the upcoming “Law & Order” themed episode is amazing. Combine them with Star-Burns, who has been smuggling equipment from the biology department for the meth lab in his trunk, and you’ve got comedy gold. It’s not all fun and games, though — a shocking phone call toward the end of the episode changes everything.
