Throughout the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 12, some of the biggest stars in music will come together in New York City’s Madison Square Garden for the “12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief.” The idea is to raise money to help those devastated by October’s hurricane Sandy.
You can watch the livestream of the event right here! Just click play, and you will see the current act.

Which acts could you see? Performances from The Rolling Stones, Kanye West, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Alicia Keys, The Who, Eddie Vedder, Bon Jovi, Roger Waters, Billy Joel and Eric Clapton are all on the schedule.

Non-singing celebrities were in attendance too. Billy Crystal told jokes right after the Bruce Springsteen show — and introduced New Jersey governor Chris Christie and New York governor Andrew Cuomo.

The big event of the night — in addition to all of this — is a performance featuring Paul McCartney singing with the two remaining members of Nirvana, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic.

Organizers expect this concert to be one of the most-watched events in musical history. Thanks to the live-streaming feed, more than 2 billion people around the world will be able to watch the show live. Proceeds from the benefit will go to the Robin Hood Foundation‘s efforts to provide disaster relief after Sandy.
