Amy Winehouse threatened to kill herself with a knife, after her imprisoned husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, turned down a chance for early parole with restrictions that would have kept him away from her.
And Winehouse is still considered suicidal, and her friends and family are worried and keeping a 24-hour watch over her.
She’s reportedly told pals that it’s her destiny to die young, like her idol, Sex Pistols star Sid Vicious, who died from a heroin overdose.
Here’s a thought:
Maybe Britney Spears’ dad, Jamie Spears, should stay with Amy. His presence certainly was a stabilizing impact on his daughter, who is now prepped for a major career comeback.
What do you think? Is there any help for Amy?
Should her family have her forceably institutionalized to dry her out, then get her into therapy and drug rehab?
