Curtis Jackson is a wanted man.

Jackson, also known as rapper 50 Cent, is a last-minute addition to the cop drama "Caught in the Crossfire," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The rapper will play a gang informant — not a stretch for a man famously shot nine times — caught up in a corruption case also involving Chris Klein, Adam Rodriguez and Richard T. Jones. Shooting has started in Michigan.

Jackson is stretching his acting chops lately: He signed on to star opposite Forest Whitaker in an update of Robert Louis Stevenson's "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde."
