“Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” has been touting the hashtag #ItsAllConnected for a few weeks now, and the ABC series is out to prove it in a new special.

The “Assembling A Universe” one-hour special will air Tuesday, March 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT in place of a new episode of “Agents of SHIELD.” It will discuss how the TV show connects with the Marvel movies like “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “Guardians of the Galaxy” — as well as offer a first tease of “The Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
In the above promo, viewers get to see director Joss Whedon at work, as well as hear some commentary from Chris Hardwick. And who can complain about seeing another shot of Karen Gillan as Nebula?
Meanwhile, in a sneak peek from an upcoming “Agents of SHIELD” episode, Melinda May tells Coulson that it (likely meaning her spying on him) is not what he thinks. So what is it? That will have to wait to be seen.
“Agents of SHIELD” airs Tuesdays on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
