The only detail known so far is that his name is Spivey.

Consuelos joins the Season 1 returning cast of Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Zachary Quinto, Lily Rabe and Sarah Paulson, plus newcomers to the show James Cromwell, Adam Levine, Chloe Sevigny, Joseph Fiennes and Lizzie Brochere.

The second season sees Lange as a nun who runs the aforementioned mental hospital. Fiennes is the head of the hospital and Cromwell is a doctor there. Sevigny is playing some sort of arch-nemesis for Lange’s character. The details surrounding the rest of the characters have been kept under wraps so far.

“American Horror Story” returns in the fall of 2012 on FX.
