adamlambert ellen 290 'American Idol': Adam Lambert explains his AMA actions on 'Ellen'

“American Idol” star Adam Lambert admits to being a little nervous before his now infamous AMA performance.

He told Ellen DeGeneres on her show Tuesday (Dec. 1), he didn’t think about the act “as objectively as might have wanted to.”

He said he tried to so something a little risque and in hindsight, maybe that wasn’t the best “second impression” to make on a national, live broadcast.

Ellen weighs in on the event as well and admits if we’re going to be offended by sexuality, one should be offended by ALL forms of sexuality. Touche’ Ellen.

Hear more of Adam’s explanation and what his parents said about the show.

It’s not as simple as that though, is it? What say you?
