Hollie Cavanagh capped off the “American Idol” Year of Birth theme week with Celine Dion’s 1993 hit “Power of Love.” It was another beautiful performance by the pint-sized powerhouse, though we have some advice.

The performance got a little boring – big note, arm sweep, big note, arm sweep, big note. We applauded Jessica Sanchez this week for going from Whitney Houston’s biggest hit to an up-tempo song. We would like to see Hollie do that next week. Just stretch yourself a little.

The judges said there were a few little mistakes, but that it would be silly to even criticize – the unspoken part of that was because in a night of very blah performances, Hollie (and Joshua) were huge highlights.

What do you think, “Idol” fans?
