Isabel Gonzalez – Charlotte Audition – American… by IdolxMuzic

“American Idol” is doing this thing in Season 12 where someone can nominate a singer who would not go to auditions him or herself. The first one didn’t go so well, but Wednesday night (Jan. 23) the judges found Isabel Gonzalez.

Little 16-year-old Isabel from Alpharetta, Georgia took on “Nothing Could Ever Change This Love” by Sam Cooke and it was interesting. Very throwback, very bluesy.

Nicki Minaj summed it up with, “I’m absolutely head-over-heels in love with you. Everything about you. I could listen to you riffing all day, you’re doing it so effortlessly. That’s what makes it so dope.”

Isabel was sent through to Hollywood with four yes votes. What did you think, “Idol” fans?
