For the “American Idol” Top 3, Joshua Ledet was handed Etta James‘ classic “I’d Rather Go Blind” and Mary J. Blige’s “No More Drama” and then personally chose John Lennon‘s “Imagine.” His first number was solid and his third song was also good, but it was his second offering – an R&B version of “Imagine” that stayed true to the original while still being distinctly “Joshua” – that was his best performance.

“It was a pulled back and controlled performance for you, which is hard to do,” says Jennifer Lopez. And Steven adds, “Another thank-you-God moment from you.” Steven also said of Joshua, “Out of 70,000 there is only one American Idol. And you sang like that one tonight.”

What do you think, “Idol” fans? Will Joshua advance to the finals? Does he have your votes tonight? VIdeos above and below in case you missed any of Josh’s performances.
