American-Idol-Nick-Mitchell-Norman-Gentle-Simon-Cowell-Nigel-Barker.jpgFormer “American Idol” Season 8 contestant, Nick Mitchell (a.k.a. Norman Gentle) shot his first music video in New York’s Times Square.

The song is called “Brit Slap” and it seems he had a specific judge in mind.

According to the New York Daily News, Mitchell had a life-sized cardboard cutout of Simon Cowell standing by! We can not wait to see the finished video and what Simon’s cardboard doppelganger is in for.

Um, don’t ask us why “America’s Next Top Model” judge Nigel Barker was on the scene, as well. We don’t have the expertise of Tyra Banks, but we’re pretty sure even the crafty Nick Mitchell couldn’t fool her into thinking he’s a chick. Sorry for putting that imagery out there!

Check out “Norman Gentle’s” first clash with the real Simon Cowell:

Aren’t you excited to see the “Brit Slap” video?
