“American Idol” winner Phillip Phillips debuted the music video for his “Idol” winner’s single “Home” Wednesday night (Aug. 8) during “So You Think You Can Dance” on FOX. What did you think of the video?

“Home,” which got off to a strong start after the “Idol” finale in terms of chart placement and sales, is seeing a resurgence in popularity the past 10 days or so, due in large part to its use during NBC’s Olympics coverage. So far the song has sold nearly 850,000 copies and peaked at No. 9 on the U.S. charts.

Phillips tells EW of the song’s new-found audience, “Someone told me that yesterday. He said, ‘I didn’t know who you were,’
and he said he heard the song on gymnastics. It’s kind
of cool that people like a song and they don’t recognize it from
‘American Idol.'”
