crystal bowersox idol 320 'American Idol's' Crystal Bowersox on Ryan Seacrest: 'I'm cool with Ryan'There has been much ballyhoo made recently about the conflict between “American Idol” contestant Crystal Bowersox and host Ryan Seacrest.

First it came out that Crystal was thinking about quitting the show and that Ryan talked her down from the metaphorical ledge.

Crystal later posted on Facebook: “No apologies for being human. Life is always testing one’s strength and
weakness threshold. That’s how we learn how strong we really are.” It then came out when booted contestant Katelyn Epperly was talking to a radio host in her home state of Iowa and said that Crystal had texted her “Betrayed by Seacrest.”

After Tuesday night’s (April 20) performances, Crystal tells Zap2it that she was not considering leaving the show and that she is 100% committed or else she wouldn’t be there. She also says regarding host Ryan Seacrest, “We were never angry with each other. Ryan is a great guy, we had a great conversation, he gave me good advice. I highly respect him … There’s no beef with me and Ryan. Ryan’s a great man. Whatever anybody else says is their opinion, but I’m cool with Ryan.”

What do you think gang? Does that put the matter to bed? Or is the “Idol” PR machine just working really hard to make sure there are no chinks in the armor?
