“America’s Got Talent” Season 8 started the Radio City Music Hall shows Tuesday night (July 23), with the first 12 acts performing live in front of a packed house plus millions of viewers. Which acts stood out?
In this round, four acts advance and for us, those acts are Anna Christine, the young singer; Collins Key, the magician; the Kristef Brothers, acrobats; and Branden James, singer. They all did a great job, with the Kristef act really impressing us with not only their talent, but their humor.
There were other strong acts that could advance, like dance group Hype, which had terrific choreography, or Tell A Vision, the group that combines iLuminate, Silhouettes and “So You Think You Can Dance.”
Other than those six, we would be very surprised if any other acts advanced. Aaralyn and Izzy are adorable children, but the act is terrible. The comic was terrible. The rock band was nothing special. Alexanderia the Great was boring, while Fresh Faces was kind of terrifying. Dial it back, ladies. This isn’t “Dance Moms.”
Who do you think will advance, “AGT” fans?
