Time to find out which six acts are advancing to the “America’s Got Talent” Season 8 Top 12. We have a feeling after last night’s performances that it will be heavy on the vocal acts, but let’s see if we’re right.
The first acts brought down are Tone the Chiefrocca, Red Panda and Innovative Force. The act that advances is Innovative Force, which is the correct choice out of those three acts, but we’re surprised they advanced. Last night was good, but not as sharp as their previous performance.
The second group of acts is between Duo Resonance, Jonathan Allen and Forte. If there’s only one act, we predict Forte. If there’s two advancing, it’ll be Jonathan and Forte. Forte gets through and then that’s it. Not a huge surprise, Jonathan Allen on “Bring Him Home” last night was not his best performance.
The third spot is between Collins Key, Taylor Williamson and Angela Hoover. Collins Key advances, which I’m very happy about, but a little surprised at after the judges’ comments to him. The other person advancing out of this group is Taylor Williamson.
Down to Dave Fenley, Catapult Entertainment and Cami Bradley, there are just two spots left. Huh. We kind of thought all three of those acts would advance. But in the end, Cami Bradley was voted in by America and the judges had to pick between Dave and Catapult.
Mel B. votes for Dave, but the other three judges vote for Catapult Entertainment, so that’s who is advancing.
What do you think, “AGT” fans? Did the right six acts move forward?
