taylor swift tina fey amy poehler golden globes Amy Poehler responds to Taylor Swift's gripe: 'I am going to hell'Okay, in case you’ve missed the latest Taylor Swift drama, allow us to catch you up.

At the Golden Globes, Michael J. Fox’s son, Sam, was one of the people who bring the trophies out to the winners. Tina Fey, who hosted the show with Amy Poehler, made a joke at one point that Taylor Swift should “stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son.” Then a few days later, Fox voiced his agreement with the sentiment, adding that he didn’t know who Swift was. Later, he privately reached out to Swift to clear up his comment, and all was fine. This week, a Vanity Fair article came out, in which Swift admitted to feeling wounded by Poehler and Fey’s decision to rag on her love life during the awards show.

“I was just sort of like, ‘Oh well, you know, I can laugh at myself.’ But what it ended up adding to was this whole kind of everyone jumping on the bandwagon of ‘Taylor dates too much.’
You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people because she said to
me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, ‘There’s a special
place in hell for women who don’t help other women,'” Swift told the mag.

And the world went crazy.

Now, Poehler has responded to Swift’s comment via THR.

“Aw, I feel bad if she was upset,” Poehler says. “I am a feminist, and she is a young
and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But
for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff. “

Can we all go back to talking about other things now?

UPDATE: No, we can not go back to talking about other things. Now, Tina Fey has responded to Swift, telling ET, “”If anyone was going to get mad at us, I thought it would be James Cameron. I did not see that one coming. It was a joke, it was a lighthearted joke.”
