Now that Netflix has finally given you an excuse to start your “Gilmore Girls” rewatch binge, you’ve likely noticed a few things: A longing to experience fall in New England, a renewed love of scarves, a secret desktop folder with pictures of Jared Padalecki (what? nothing weird to see here) and a dramatic (and possibly dangerous) increase in coffee consumption.
Then there’s the extreme envy of a brain as clever with words as “GG” creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, which leads to a moment of silence for the gone-too-soon “Bunheads” and, finally, a Google search that reminds you of the fact that in addition to an innate quick wit, the producer also has an excellent taste in hats.
Seriously: Has anyone ever rocked a hat like that so easily and consistently for more than a decade? (The top photo is from a press event for “Bunheads” in 2013, and the last one below is from 2003.)
Here’s another question: Just how epic a hat would ASP wear to the Kentucky Derby, a.k.a. the holy holiday for all hat-wearing women in the country?
