amy winehouse lioness hidden treasures 2 Amy Winehouse's 'Lioness: Hidden Treasures' still has one track missingAmy Winehouse, who tragically passed away in July at the age of 27, has one last album coming out. The CD, titled “Lioness: Hidden Treasures,” will feature 12 tracks, cobbled together by producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, who have worked closely with Winehouse in the past.

But music journalist Joe Levy tells CBS news there is one track missing from the album.

“[There is] at least one track that one of her record company executives
has said she made him promise the public will never hear. Apparently,
the one recording is so deeply personal and, he says, an extremely
powerful, very great song. No one will ever hear that. That is his
promise to her,” says Levy.

Levy goes on to say that because “Lioness” is a posthumous release and not something Winehouse could actually have seen through to completion that it is a “hodgepodge.”

“It’s a hodgepodge record. I would say there are three or four truly great tracks. The rest is just interesting to hear,” says Levy.

Amy’s father Mitch Winehouse says of the album, “We were stunned at how wonderful the album is. But at the moment, I
can’t listen to it; in the years to come, I will be able to.”

“Lioness: Hidden Treasures” will be released in the U.S. on Tuesday (Dec. 6).
