charlie sheen anger management teaser coffin youtube 'Anger Management': Producers of Charlie Sheen's new show sued for $50 millionCharlie Sheen’s new show “Anger Management” hasn’t even started yet, but the program is already in trouble. Show producer Joe Roth and Revolution Studios are being sued for $50 million.

The complaint, which was filed Wednesday (April 18) in L.A. County Superior Court by Blue Star Entertainment and Jason Shuman, claims fraud, breach of contract and misconduct as it relates to the upcoming FX series. Shuman says that he was the one who brought the idea to Roth in 2008.

The filing states, “Roth fraudulently induced Plaintiff Jason Shuman and his company Blue Star Entertainment to spend two years developing the television series ‘Anger Management,’ under the false promise of receiving significant backend ownership in, and producer credit and fees on, the show.”

Shuman also says that he was actively involved in the project’s development until June 2011. It was at that point Roth stopped contacting him. Then, a month later, Revolution announced they were looking to make the series with Sheen attached.

“As a results of [Roth’s] fraudulent actions and the breach of written producer agreement to develop ‘Anger Management,’ [Shuman/Blue Star] have received no credit or compensation and have been damaged in the amount in excess of $50 million.”

Calls to Revolution Studios for comment have not been returned.

The series is set to debut on FX on June 28.
